Dr. Rob Meadows, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic, Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner, Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician
Dr. Meadows is originally from Selma, Alabama where he met his wife, Meg in high school. They love practicing and living in Auburn, Alabama, where their two children Dempsey and Grace now attend Auburn University. Dr. Meadows completed his undergraduate studies at Auburn University in 1996 where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in pre-med zoology. He then went on to attend Life University in 1997 for his doctorate in Chiropractic. While attending Life University, he worked in the school's research department, additionally working as an intern as well as seeing his own patients. He and Meg married in 2000 while at Life University and had their first child, Dempsey in 2001. He furthered his training by obtaining his Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner (CCEP) in 2004. He practiced in Sandy Springs, Georgia until 2005 at which time they moved back home to Auburn and had their second child, Grace. He received his Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) certification in 2007.
Since graduation he has worked with professional athletes from all over the world who sought treatment from Dr. Meadows and his clinic. He has worked with professional athletes from the MLB, NFL, PGA, WNBA as well as collegiate football, basketball, tennis, golf, equestrian, lacrosse and baseball players. Dr. Meadows attended the 2012 London Olympics in support of both USA Wrestling and USA Judo. Dr. Meadows worked as the team chiropractor for Auburn University for over 9 years, working after practices, immediately prior to games, and traveling with the team to every game & bowl game to ensure our players could perform at their best (War Eagle!).
Dr. Meadows has been acknowledged as a master technician with many of the most widely used adjusting techniques such as Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, Toggle, Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), as well as specialty techniques such as NUCCA, Pierce and Extremity adjusting. He also has extensive training in nutrition, along with class IV laser, neuropathy, FAKTR, taping, dry needling, orthotics, shockwave, and decompression.
Dr. Meadows has experience in providing generalized care for patients suffering from typical back problems. He also has experience in providing specialized care for patients suffering from both cervical and lumbar disc herniations, as well as spinal stenosis, neuropathy and degenerative changes to the disc and vertebra. He has extensive experience in helping patients suffering from plantar fasciitis, shoulder problems, golfer's or tennis elbow, knee, ankle and foot issues, rotator cuff tendinopathies, costochondritis, carpal tunnel, migraines and many other conditions.
